The CCO Appliance
The CCO appliance is a self-ligating orthodontic bracket offering doctors and patients a variety of options for their orthodontic treatment needs. CCO SYSTEM brackets minimize friction during initial leveling and aligning and allow for increased torque and rotation control during finishing. After the metal or ceramic injection process (MIM or CIM), there is a cooling down phase in which the mold retracts. TOMY then incorporates an extra step to make the archwire slot consistently precise, using Computer Numerical Controlled (CNC) milling to ensure that every slot in the CCO SYSTEM is exactly .018” or .022”. All TOMY archwire slots will then express the exact torque and angulation built into each bracket providing a more predictable result.

The CCO SYSTEM ceramic self-ligating twin bracket delivers outstanding aesthetics and performance. The bracket features a rhodium coated clip that blends into the ceramic body of the bracket creating a beautiful appearance. The base is a 100% mechanical lock ensuring both reliable bond strength and easy debonding.
The CCO SYSTEM Rhodium brackets deliver beautiful aesthetics; the brackets and wire reflect light and blend with the dentition and thus leaving the CCO SYSTEM Rhodium virtually unnoticeable in the mouth. The clinical applications are superior with this self-ligating bracket. When treating a deep bite case with CCO SYSTEM Ceramic appliances, for example, you can now place our Rhodium brackets on the lower arch without the concern of abrading the enamel. This provides the orthodontist with the ability to use both brackets within one CCO SYSTEM (i.e. a deep bite).
